I'm Tarah
Be with what is
I'm a somatic, trauma-informed therapist offering space to slow down, tune in and work with what's beneath the surface
My Journey
The beginning
I began my healing journey in my early 20's largely out of necessity. I was carrying a significant amount of childhood trauma and struggling with a range of emotional symptoms related to CPTSD: depression, dissociation, insomnia, anxiety and more
What I discovered
I was struck by the breadth of what was available: talk therapies, body based approaches and a wide range of spiritual practices.
Almost everything I tried supported my healing in some way- some things offered immediate and noticeable relief, whilst others worked more quietly unfolding over time. Building in layers
How I work today
Now more than 20 years on, I use what I have learnt to sit with others as they journey. I offer presence, regulation, compassion, and a deep understanding of the process, in support of those who are looking to heal.

My approach
My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship- with ourselves, with our bodies and with others.

I offer a space that is grounded in curiosity, compassion and lived experience, where we work at a pace that is trauma-informed.

This isn't about fixing you, it's about integrating the things that happened to you, and increasing your ability to tolerate difficult and uncomfortable things.
"I've been exploring the world of health and healing for over 20 years"
There isn't just one way of doing therapy
Over the years, I’ve explored many different therapies and modalities, and each has contributed something to my own healing.

I bring this experience into the work I do with clients, integrating different therapeutic approaches and adapting the work to what feels most supportive and appropriate for you.

This isn’t about bypassing trauma, speeding up the healing process or offering a ‘quick fix’. It’s about recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing — and there doesn’t need to be.

Our healing journeys are as individual, dynamic and varied as we are.
